Data just got situated.
We research ubiquitous and immersive analytics — how data analysis behaves once it leaves the desk and enters the contexts where decisions are actually made.
“The work we do is about how everywhere data collection can let people understand their world anywhere, and anytime.”

Augmenting human cognition
The Center for Anytime Anywhere Analytics researches ubiquitous and immersive analytics at the Department of Computer Science, Aarhus University.
We explore ways in which data analysis can be embedded into the contexts and devices people already use — leveraging ever-present mobile devices and immersive technologies to augment human cognition and drive faster, better-informed decisions in testbeds across science, manufacturing, and education.
